Route to Sula Rorbuer by plane, car and boat:
Plane/express boat: You can fly to Trondheim Airport Værnes and take the airport bus to Trondheim. Express boat from Trondheim to Sula. Travel time: 3 hours and 40 minutes.
Car: Take the E6 or RV3 road from Oslo in the direction of Trondheim. From Berkåk take road 700 to Orkanger. Then take road 714 via Hitra and Frøya to Sistranda. Boat from Sistranda to Sula (approx. 1 hour). It is possible to book private boat transport from Frøya – the crossing takes approx ca. 30 minutes. In that case, you continue past Sistranda to Sør-Dyrøy. This alternative must be booked in advance.
Ferry: A car ferry service from Sør-Dyrøy from January 2006 will make it possible to drive all the way to the centre. Ferry timetables are available on the internet: www.fosen.no
