THE BOATS
The boats are moored at a floating pier with direct access from the rorbu (fishermen's style accommodation).
There are ten 19-foot aluminium boats with 50 hp four-stroke outboard motors. All the boats have depth sounders and a GPS/map plotter.
All the boats are equipped with a safety pack containing a first aid kit, distress flares, distress signal rockets and a five-litre spare fuel can plus life jackets. There is also a drift anchor, 55 metres of rope and an anchor on board each boat.
